01 Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected by 48jl through the 48jl.org website, any associated mobile-optimized interfaces, and all related communications — including email correspondence, live chat interactions, and promotional notifications sent to registered Players.
By registering for a 48jl Player Account, accessing the Platform, or providing any personal information to 48jl, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal information as described herein. - Financial Information: GCash mobile number, PayMaya account details, Philippine bank account details (BDO, BPI, Metrobank, etc.) used for deposits and withdrawals — note that 48jl does not store full bank account credentials; payment processing is handled via secure third-party payment gateways;
- Support Communications: Content of live chat sessions, email messages, and support tickets submitted to 48jl customer service.
Information Collected Automatically:
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device type and operating system, screen resolution, and referring URL;
- Usage Data: Pages visited on 48jl.org, time spent on each page, game sessions initiated, wagering activity, and navigation paths through the Platform;
- Session Data: Login timestamps, session duration, and logout events;
- Cookie Data: Information collected via cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in Section 06.
48jl does not collect sensitive personal information (as defined under RA 10173, such as health records, biometric data, or religious beliefs) except where expressly required by PAGCOR regulations or applicable law and with your explicit consent.
03 How We Use Your Personal Information
48jl uses the personal information collected from Players and Platform visitors for the following purposes:
- Account Management: Creating, verifying, maintaining, and managing your 48jl Player Account, including processing your 48jl login credentials and account settings;
- Service Delivery: Processing deposits and withdrawals via GCash, PayMaya, and Philippine bank transfers; crediting winnings to your account; applying bonuses and promotional credits;
- Identity & Age Verification: Verifying that you meet the 21+ age requirement mandated by Philippine law and PAGCOR regulations; confirming the accuracy of registration information;
- Regulatory Compliance: Complying with PAGCOR licensing requirements, anti-money laundering obligations under RA 9160 (as amended), and reporting requirements to the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) where legally required;

- Marketing Communications: Sending promotional offers, bonus notifications, and platform updates — subject to your communication preferences and applicable opt-out rights;
- Responsible Gaming: Monitoring player activity for indicators of problem gambling behavior and facilitating access to responsible gaming tools including deposit limits and self-exclusion;
- Platform Improvement: Analyzing aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve Platform performance, game offerings, and user experience for Filipino players.
04 Legal Basis for Processing
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, 48jl processes personal information on the following legal bases:
- Contractual Necessity: Processing necessary for the performance of the agreement between you and 48jl (the Terms and Conditions) — including account management, payment processing, and service delivery;
- Legal Obligation: Processing required for compliance with PAGCOR regulations, RA 9160 (Anti-Money Laundering Act), and other applicable Philippine laws;
- Legitimate Interests: Processing for fraud prevention, platform security, responsible gaming monitoring, and general Platform improvement, where such interests are not overridden by your data privacy rights;
- Consent: Processing for marketing communications and optional platform features, where you have provided clear, informed, and freely given consent — and where you retain the right to withdraw consent at any time.
05 Data Sharing & Disclosure
48jl does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your personal information with the following categories of recipients, strictly on a need-to-know basis:
- PAGCOR and Regulatory Authorities: As required by our licensing conditions, applicable gaming regulations, or pursuant to lawful requests from Philippine government agencies;
- Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC): Transaction reports and player data as required under RA 9160 and related AMLC regulations;
- Payment Service Providers: GCash (G-Xchange Inc.), PayMaya, and Philippine banking partners — solely for the purpose of processing your deposits and withdrawals;
- Identity Verification Providers: Third-party KYC service providers engaged to verify player identity and age in compliance with PAGCOR requirements;
- Game Software Providers: Licensed game providers whose titles appear on the 48jl Platform may receive anonymized session data for technical purposes;

06 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
48jl uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Platform to deliver essential functionality, improve user experience, and analyze Platform performance. The categories of cookies used include:
- Strictly Necessary Cookies: Essential for Platform operation — including maintaining your 48jl login session, remembering your account preferences, and ensuring Platform security. These cookies cannot be disabled without significantly impairing Platform functionality;
- Analytics Cookies: Used to collect anonymized data on how players navigate the Platform — page views, session durations, and popular game categories. This data is used in aggregate form only to improve the 48jl experience;
- Functionality Cookies: Remember your preferences such as language settings and responsible gaming tool configurations;
- Session Cookies: Temporary cookies deleted when you close your browser, used to maintain your authenticated 48jl session.
You may configure your browser to refuse cookies; however, disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair your ability to log in and use the 48jl Platform. Analytics and functionality cookies can be disabled without preventing core Platform access.
48jl does not use cookies to track your activity outside of the 48jl.org domain or to serve third-party advertising on other websites.
07 Data Retention
48jl retains personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, subject to the following minimum retention periods mandated by Philippine law and PAGCOR regulations:
- Account and Transaction Records: A minimum of five (5) years from the date of the last transaction or account closure, as required by PAGCOR regulations and RA 9160;
- Identity Verification Documents: Retained for the duration of the active account relationship and for a minimum of five (5) years following account closure;
- Support Communications: Retained for a minimum of two (2) years from the date of the interaction;
- Marketing Consent Records: Retained for the duration of the consent and for a reasonable period thereafter to demonstrate compliance.
When personal information is no longer required and the applicable retention period has expired, 48jl will securely delete or anonymize such data in accordance with its data disposal procedures.
08 Data Security
48jl implements technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and the 48jl Platform;
- Encryption of sensitive data fields (including payment details) at rest in our databases;
- Role-based access controls limiting access to personal information to authorized 48jl personnel on a strict need-to-know basis;
- Regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing of Platform infrastructure;
- Multi-factor authentication requirements for administrative access to systems holding personal data;
- Incident response procedures aligned with the NPC's mandatory data breach notification requirements under RA 10173.
While 48jl employs industry-standard security practices, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. You play an important role in protecting your own account by using a strong, unique password and enabling two-factor authentication on your 48jl account.
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to cause significant harm to affected Players, 48jl will notify the National Privacy Commission (NPC) within 72 hours of discovery and will notify affected Players without undue delay, in accordance with RA 10173.
09 Your Data Privacy Rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, registered Players have the following rights with respect to their personal information held by 48jl:
- Right to Be Informed: The right to know what personal information 48jl holds about you, the purposes for which it is processed, and with whom it is shared;
- Right to Access: The right to request a copy of the personal information 48jl holds about you;
- Right to Rectification: The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information in your 48jl account — many details can be updated directly in your account settings;
- Right to Erasure: The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to 48jl's legal retention obligations under PAGCOR regulations and RA 9160;
- Right to Object: The right to object to the processing of your personal information for direct marketing purposes at any time;
- Right to Data Portability: The right to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used format where technically feasible;
- Right to Lodge a Complaint: The right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines if you believe 48jl has processed your personal information in violation of RA 10173.
To exercise any of the above rights, please contact the 48jl Data Privacy Officer using the contact details provided in Section 13. 48jl will respond to data rights requests within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt, in accordance with NPC guidelines.
10 Children's Privacy (Under-21 Policy)
The 48jl Platform is strictly restricted to persons aged 21 years and above. 48jl does not knowingly collect, process, or retain personal information from any person under the age of 21 years.
If 48jl discovers that personal information has been collected from a person under 21 years of age, that account will be immediately suspended, all associated data will be deleted, and any deposits will be refunded through the original payment method. If you believe a person under 21 has registered on the 48jl Platform, please notify us immediately via our live support or email channel.
Underage gambling is illegal under Philippine law. 48jl takes all reasonable measures to prevent access by minors and complies fully with PAGCOR's age verification requirements.
11 Cross-Border Data Transfers
Some of 48jl's service providers (including cloud infrastructure and game software providers) may be located outside the Philippines. Where personal information is transferred outside the Philippines, 48jl ensures that such transfers are carried out in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and NPC guidelines on cross-border data transfers, including:
- Ensuring the recipient country provides an adequate level of data protection, or;
- Implementing contractual safeguards (standard data protection clauses) with the receiving party to ensure your personal information is afforded equivalent protections to those provided under RA 10173.
48jl will not transfer your personal information internationally beyond what is necessary for service delivery and will document all cross-border transfers in accordance with NPC requirements.
12 Amendments to This Privacy Policy
48jl reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes to this Policy will be communicated to registered Players via email to the address on file, or through a prominent notice on the 48jl Platform, at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the updated Policy taking effect.
The effective date displayed at the top of this page reflects when the most recent version of this Policy was published. Your continued use of the 48jl Platform following the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the amended Policy, you should discontinue use of the Platform and may request account closure.
We recommend reviewing this Privacy Policy periodically. The current version is always accessible at 48jl.org/privacy-policy.
